Synopsis:

Past Liu Jin-xi (Donnie Yen) is mysterious. Not so clear where it originated a quiet man. The person knows, Liu was a shop owner, had a wife and two children. Liu does look ordinary. No one thought that Liu was in fact a martial arts champion with a dark past.
During this time Liu was always hiding his past. Everything is uncovered because of the emergence of two robbers who tried to break into his store. Trying to defend his property, Liu Jin-xi then engage battle with these two vicious robbers. Liu was trying to cover up so he does not look like someone who mastered the martial arts high but still there was a suspicious person.
Villagers Liu's residence is not suspicious but others again by Xu Bai-jiu (Takeshi Kaneshiro). Detectives suspect there is something wrong with a scene that seems to only happen to it. Xu believes that the two robbers could not be defeated just like that if Liu can not master the martial arts. Xu curiosity intensified, and so he began to investigate past Liu. Apparently this is not the only problem Liu since there people from the past that Liu had appeared there.

Synopsis:

My Own Swordsman is the movie that tell of Qixia town, China, Ming dynasty. Business is getting tougher all the time at Tongfu Inn, run by bottom-line businesswoman Tong Xiangyu, onetime widow of a martial arts hero and now married to younger wannabe hero Bai Zhantang (Sha Yi) and longing to start a family. Also working at the inn are former martial arts heroine Guo Furong (Yao Chen), who is now pregnant by her impoverished scholar husband Lü Xiucai (Yu Entai), and cook Li Dazui (Jiang Chao. Corrupt Revenue Ministry official Pei Zhicheng (Yue Yueli) arrives with his pretty young "ward" Chichi (Zhang Meng) on a mission to forcibly buy up properties to redevelop the town, and after a fracas at the inn in which he almost dies (several times) he calls in professional assassin Ji Wuli (Wang Lei) to kill off Tong and her associates. (Though purely driven by money, Ji has an axe to grind, as his elder brother Ji Wuming killed himself after being tricked by Lü.) Despite her husband's reluctance, Guo is in favour of moving out and buying a property on the quiet west bank of the river which Pei announces will be totally redeveloped, with a five-star hotel. After initially refusing Pei's offer, Tong has second thoughts and tries to soft-soap Pei into a deal by getting the town's only female constable, tomboyish martial artist Zhu Wushuang (Ni Hongjie), to butter him up. However, the meeting goes badly and Pei, suspecting he's under investigation by the authorities, goes into hiding and hires Ji to kill her and her wannabe boyfriend Ye Xiaoliu (Xiao Jian).

Synopsis:

Hong Kong auteur Wong Kar-wai makes his feature film debut with this gritty romantic crime-drama inspired by Scorsese's Mean Streets. The film opens with young gangster Wah (Andy Lau) getting a visit for the day from his beautiful cousin Ah-Ngor (Maggie Cheung), who is coming into Kowloon from the remote outlying Lantau island to receive medical treatment for a lung condition. At first, the short-fused gangster and the quiet country girl have little in common, but gradually the two start to form a bond of sorts. Meanwhile, Wah's buddy Fly (Jacky Cheung), who has an absolutely volcanic temper, is always getting Wah into hot water. Even though Wah knows that Fly is bound to end up dead soon, he stands by his foolhardy friend. After some hesitation, Wah -- who has fallen for Ah-Ngor -- visits his cousin on Lantau, hoping to make their relationship more than family. Fly later infuriates a psychopathic mob boss, Tony (Alex Man Chi-leung who, along with his henchmen, beats and degrades Fly and Wah. This induces Fly make amends with Tony by undertaking the outrageously difficult task of rubbing out an informant who is in the custody of the cops, before the man has the opportunity to testify in a court hearing.

Synopsis:

Year 1899, China is under the control of Qing Dynasty with their financial capital located in Shanxi.
