Synopsis:

I Am Kalam is a Bollywood film directed by Nila Madhab Panda. The plot revolves around Chhotu, a poor Rajasthani boy, who is inspired by the life of the former President of India, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.and his strong desire to learn to read. The character of Chhotu has been performed by Harsh Mayar, a Delhi slum boy. The film premiered at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival on May 12. Synopsis:

Based on the real-life experiences of Mende Nazer,the story unfolds as twelve-year-old Malia,daughter of champion wrestler Bah,is abducted from her Sudanese village in the Nubar Mountains by pro-government Arab militia and sold into slavery to a woman in Khartoum,who beats her for touching her daughter. After six years she is sent to London,where her name is changed,but her miserable life of servitude continues. Her passport is taken and she is told that her father will die if she goes to the authorities. Fortunately she meets a sympathetic person who seems to offer her the hope of escape and reunion with Bah,back in Sudan. For all the film's optimism an end title states that there are around 5,000 'slave' workers currently in Britain.

Synopsis:

In December 2009, military virologist Lieutenant Colonel Robert Neville (Will Smith), lost his wife Zoe (Salli Richardson) and daughter Marley (Willow Smith) in a helicopter accident during the chaotic quarantine of Manhattan. K.V. (Krippen Virus), a genetically-engineered variant of the measles virus meant as a cancer cure, mutates into a lethal strain and spreads throughout the world, killing 5.4 billion people (90% of humanity). In September 2012, Neville is the last healthy human in New York City. Of the 600 million survivors worldwide, only 12 million were naturally immune to the virus. The rest degenerated into hairless, aggressive beings referred to as "Darkseekers,"^[4] who hunted the immune humans as prey. The "Darkseekers" are so named for hiding during daylight due to a painful intolerance to UV radiation. The infected show increased speed, agility, aggression and strength. They also have an increased metabolic rate, which consumes the infected with an overwhelming hunger, making them resort to cannibalism. Despite their primal behavior, the Darkseekers display some basic problem-solving intelligence and the capacity for organization.
