Synopsis:
Based on the novel by screenwriter Noh Hee-kyeong and the 1996 drama “The Most Beautiful Goodbye,” this film tells the moving story of an ambitious yet family-oriented woman who has to say goodbye to her family.
The people in In-hee’s (Bae Chong-ok) life have always taken her for granted. There’s her husband, Jeong-chol (Kim Kap-soo), a doctor who always prioritized his career over family life, her daughter Yeon-soo (Park Ha-seon) and son Jeong-soo (Ryoo Deok-hwan), both of whom have become increasingly harsh towards their mother. Each summer, Koreans are chilled to the spine by the flood of horror movies that hit the box office. In this year’s lineup, there is "Ghastly."
It all begins when Ka-hee (Hwang Ji-hyeon), an emotionally and psychologically damaged woman, finds a spirit medium to help her address her troubles. Her inability to give birth to a child had long tortured her, and now she will do anything to cheat that fate.
She ends up burying an orphan in a large traditional pot used to burry kimchi underground during the winter and killing him. What she gains for this merciless act is a child of her own. Ka-hee eventually gives birth to a son she names Bin, but Ka-hee soon meets a brutal death.
The film continues as Bin’s aunt Sunny (Han Eun-jeong) and her husband Jang-hwan (Park Seong-min) come to live with the now orphaned Bin in his home, which is haunted and where the pot still is. Bin also starts to reveal his violent side.
"Ghastly" is the directorial debut of Ko Suk-jin. The film also features Hyomin, a member of girl group T-ara, who plays the role of Sunny’s younger sister.

Synopsis:
Tae Gun-Ho (Jung Jae-Young) is a cold-blooded debt collector, but he is also in debt himself. He goes back to his old apartment that is being demolished and discovers a cassette recorder that his deceased son played with. Gun-Ho doesn’t remember how his son died due to his memory suppressing a traumatic event.
On the day that Gun-Ho pays off his debts, he passes out in his car at a stop light. At the hospital he is diagnosed with liver cancer. Gun-Ho learns that he doesn’t have much time left to live. He needs to find a liver donor within the next 10 days. His son died five years ago and donated his organs to five other people. Gun-Ho contacts these five people to ask if they can donate a liver to him. Four of those persons refuse. There is one person left.
Cha Ha-Yeon (Jeon Do-Youn) is in prison and she is the last person on Gun-Ho’s list. Gun-Ho makes a visit to prison and asks her to donate a liver. She says yes, but under one condition. Ha-Yeon will be released from prison in a few days and Gun-Ho must find a guy named Jo Myung-Suk (Lee Kyeong-Yeong) before then. Gun-Ho is able to fulfill his part of the deal.
On the day of her release, Gun-Ho is there waiting for her. While driving out of the prison parking lot they are ambushed by gangsters looking for Ha-Yeon. They barely escape after a mad car chase. When they stop at a highway rest stop, Gun-Ho goes to get Ha-Yeon medicine. In the meantime, Ha-Yeon jumps into driver’s seat and takes off.
Ha-Yeon heads to Busan to get back the money Jo Myung-Suk stole from her. Years ago, Jo Myung-Suk and Ha-Yeon ran a ponzi scheme. Jo Myung-Suk turned Ha-Yeon in to the police as the scapegoat. Meanwhile, Suwayi (Oh Man-Seok), a Korean-Chinese street gang leader, is in hot pursuit of Ha-Yeon for the money he lost to her in the ponzi scheme. Gun-Ho also heads to Busan to get Ha-Yeon to follow through on her deal before it’s too late him. The countdown begins …

Horse jockey Seung-ho loses his wife in a fatal car accident. The accident also leaves him practically blind. No longer able to work, he leads an aimless life with his little daughter. Things take turn for the worse when he loses all his savings after trying to cheat at the horse track and flees to a remote ranch in Jeju Island. There he meets a violent and limping horse Woo-bak and he trains the horse ready for race. Against all odds, Seung-ho and Woo-bak finishes first in the preliminaries but when Seung-ho’s blindness is discovered by the officials, they’re disqualified from the finals. Woo-bak rejects all other jockeys and direly awaits Seung-ho to come back. The limping horse and his blind jockey bet everything to race one last time.

Synopsis:
After losing his family when he was young, Nam-soon feels no pain.
