Synopsis:

Veer Zaara story of love between Veer Pratap Singh, India, and Hayaat Zaara Khan, a PakistaniVeer Pratap Singh (Shah Rukh Khan) is an officer and the Indian Air Force pilot who one day met a beautiful Pakistani heiress, Zaara Hayaat Khan (Preity Zinta ), when he travels to a small Indian village to spread the ashes of one family's loyal servants.

Veer has family in the village, and while most Indians show no affection for Pakistanis, his aunt and uncle are willing to take Zaara in for the night. Synopsis:

Veer is a period film with an epic feel. The film is set in the era of 1875 and is based on the love story of a warrior "Veer" and his clan Pindhari afraid of the soldiers of the 19th century.
