Synopsis:
Jaya (12) who lost his mother, was escorted to see the only surviving member of his family, namely his father, Johar (48). Johar worked on a fishing platforms, where the fish netting built on wooden stilts in the middle of the ocean. Platforms are remote and difficult to access. There, working laborer and alienation is a fact of everyday. Johar dark past that made him unable to return to the mainland since 12 years ago
The incident resulted in police custody when Johar definitely go back to the mainland. When Jaya arrived at the fishing platforms, he immediately rejected Johar who never knew that he had a son. Fully aware that he could not return to the mainland to take the child, Jaya, Johar was forced to accept work on these platforms
Petemuan is clearly leading to a situation that completely foreign. Parent-child relationship are not known to exist by both of them
